An alligator (and a water moccasin) were found in a drainage culvert in our neighborhood.  Thanks to the Texas Parks and Wildlife help and a local 'alligator hunter', it was captured and taken off to a better place.

According to the guy from  Parks and Wildlife, this alligator measured 10'4".  He said it was the biggest one he had caught in a long time.

It took 6 men to get it into the truck.

And it really filled up the back of the truck.

Hope we never have another one of those in our neighborhood again.
